Everyone knows the basics about Numerology, which is to take your Date of Birth, and break it down into a single digit.

IE: 1st July 1961 = 1 + 7 (July) + 1 + 9 + 6 + 1 = 25  which is then broken down as 2 + 5 = 7

Breaking down the Date of Birth to one single digit (or in some cases one of the master numbers such as 11, 22 or 33) reveals the Life Path Number.

In this case, using the Date of Birth of the late Princess Diana of Wales, we see she had a Life Path Number of 7.

This means that, as a 7, she gained maximum experience through life’s lesson books, both through the personal sacrifice of learning and through teaching or sharing. Her Life’s Purpose was about the need to take a massive step forward. The 7 also gave her a limitless capacity for learning through personal involvement and sharing with others.

We saw the positive sides of this through Diana’s compassion to others in what she wanted to be: - A Queen of Hearts.

That is the sort of thing most pick up from reading magazines such as Womans Day or New Idea.

There is more to the Ruling Number of 7 which can be covered at another time.

I mentioned earlier that is the BASIC function that most people know.

Many don’t know that besides breaking down Dates of Birth (and even names) into their basic numbers, we can tell even more about someone through its individual components.

For example, consider if someone with the date of birth 10th May 1971 were placed on a “tic tac toe” board where each square were represented by numbers as below:-

The numbers that represent each space on a Birth Chart

The numbers that represent each space on a Birth Chart

The top row signifies the Mind Plane and is related to our mental capacities, how we use them and how we think.

The middle row signifies the Soul Plane. That is it relates to our spiritual well-being as well as how we feel things such as emotions.

The bottom row is related to the Physical Plane, illustrating our practical aspects and our actions of doing things.

For example, the more numbers one has filling their Soul Plane then the more emotionally balanced they are and able to deal with issues and people around them. If there is a lack of numbers on this level then the person is likely to be easily agitated, hypersensitive, someone who can lash out at others as they feel easily hurt by others. This is something that is usually grown out of or adapted fortunately.

A lack of numbers is not a bad thing or a detriment. It is one of the pointers to show where that particular person has lessons to learn in their life. The point of life is to develop oneself, to be the best we can be, and be happy. Knowing the life areas to be worked upon allows us to plan for happiness.

For the 10th May 1971, the birth chart would look like this after putting each digit from the date of birth into its corresponding square.

You will notice that there are three 1’s in the bottom left quadrant.

That is something else that I look at as every single digit has its own meaning. A grouping of digits holds a greater importance.

In this case the three 1’s indicate a person who is a real chatterbox. It can be hard to shut them up sometimes because they are usually very bright and interesting. They usually find life to be very interesting and love to share their findings with others. If the middle row were completely devoid of digits in this chart, they would be mostly shy but very willing to speak once they felt they were in safe company. However, in this case, the 5 offers some protection to that sensitivity so the person does not feel so reserved in other’s company.

The interesting part is the complete line, also known as an arrow, in the chart. The sections filled by the 1’s, 5’s and 9’s.

When there is such a complete arrow, similar to a winning line in tic-tac-toe, this is usually indicated as a strength.

This particular arrow (1, 5, 9) is known as the Arrow of Determination and is one of the most prolific arrows to be present for those born in the 20th century. For those born in this century, or any other, it is usually those born on the 19th May or the 15th September who have this arrow. An example of one such high profile person with such an arrow is Clint Eastwood who has been an active person in a number of endeavours (born 31st May 1930).

For these people, determination rules everything they do which is often coupled with persistence… sometimes to the point of dogged stubbornness. Some will want to enact their plans with all haste while others will patiently wait it out for the opportunity before striking with precision. Usually the middle path, employing their intuition, compassion and wisdom will generally provide them with the most suitable action.

As you can see, having such an arrow is a powerful strength. One must still be careful with their strengths as if they are overused then they can become a detriment by, for example, hurting the wrong people and not being mindful of the consequences which can radiate out like shockwaves or even simply looking silly when they have taken actions stubbornly without considering all the necessary facts.

Ideally, the arrow of strength would have only one each of the 1, 5 and 9. When parts of the arrow are compounded, this can affect how well the Arrow of Determination flies as its balance is disrupted.

In this example, the subject is a chatterbox which is also implies they do not listen to others or show enough concern before making actions. Ideally, to balance things out, I would be suggest to this person they learn to develop the traits of an 8, a 2, or even better a 3 which will complete another of 3 possible arrows (Practicality, Spirituality or Activity).

The opposite of the Arrow of Determination is the Arrow of Procrastination. This happens when there is a ROW OF BLANKS (eg: no 1's, 5's or 9's). An Arrow is formed by either a complete row of numbers or a complete lack of numbers in a row.

You may laugh at this point when I tell you that NO ONE was born with this in the 1900’s. If you think that you know people who procrastinate, you have seen nothing yet until you have truly experienced children born from the early 2000's. The Arrow of Procrastination has never been seen since the 9th century (the 880’s). Anyone born in a year that has a 1, 5 or 9 is guaranteed to not have that Arrow appear.

It is only becoming more prevalent now since 2000. Parents of children who possess this arrow would be advised to teach their child patience in looking at problems and tasks, to learn discipline and focus.

By now, you are probably looking at your own birth chart right now and have noticed a few rows that are either filled nicely or not at all on the tic-tac-toe birth chart.

If you want to know more about those arrows (filled or not), please feel free to contact me and I will be glad to help.

Until next time,

ESPecially best wishes,
